Mark Levin took over the WABC 6pm slot on September 2nd, 2003. Before that, he hosted a popular Sunday afternoon program. "He's smart, witty, and fast on the draw" according to WABC Program Director Phil Boyce. "He has this sharp sarcastic wit that can easily stun his opponents. I know I would not want to debate him"

Mark has been a frequent guest and substitute host on the Sean Hannity show, and has also been an advisor to Rush Limbaugh, who frequenlty refers to him on the air with the nickname "F. Lee Levin."

Mark Levin is one of America's preeminent conservative commentators and constitutional lawyers. He's in great demand as a political and legal commentator, and has appeared on hundreds of television and radio programs. Levin is also a contributing editor for National Review Online, and writes frequently for other publications.

Levin has served as a top adviser to several members of President Ronald Reagan's Cabinet -- including as Chief of Staff to the Attorney General of the United States. Leading the Fight to Preserve America's Founding Principles

As the 21st century begins, the challenge to preserve America's founding principles of individual liberty, free enterprise and limited government is greater and more complex than ever before. Never has America been faced with such a dramatic and continuous onslaught by powerful interest groups and unions dedicated to tearing down those liberties and advancing Big Government's ever growing agenda-which makes the work of Landmark Legal Foundation more timely and important than ever. Founded in 1976, Landmark's long record of accomplishment has made it one of the nation's most effective and successful conservative legal advocacy groups. No public interest law firm has had as substantive impact in its principal mission areas as Landmark-and none is better positioned to build on that record in the coming months.

Landmark's Record Of Success:

* As part of the Foundation's Quality Schools initiative, Landmark uncovered overwhelming evidence that the National Education Association has financed and run coordinated political campaigns with the Democratic National Committee, other Democratic campaign organizations, the AFL-CIO and Emily's List-without reporting the expenditures to its members or the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), as required by federal law.

* Landmark has asked a federal judge to hold former Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Carol Browner, other former EPA officials, the EPA itself and the U.S. Attorney's Office in the District of Columbia in contempt for violating a court order by destroying information about major, last-minute regulations issued at the end of the prior administration.

* After learning that many of the nation's most extreme environmental groups have received billions of taxpayer dollars from the federal government, Landmark also initiated recent litigation against the EPA, the Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management and the Fish and Wildlife Service aimed at exposing both the amount and misuse of federal grants by these organizations, including political advocacy and lobbying. The EPA has already produced a list of nearly 14,000 grants totaling more than $2 billion made to nonprofit organizations since 1993. Landmark has used the information produced through this litigation to create the most extensive database on environmental grants awarded by the government on the Internet. This database can be easily accessed by state policy groups, property owners, businesses and others.

* Landmark filed a formal complaint with the Justice Department that instigated a FBI investigation into widespread voter irregularities in St. Louis, Missouri in the November, 2000, election.

* Landmark twice defeated efforts by the NEA and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) to thwart Milwaukee's school choice program in the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

* Landmark successfully defended the property rights of thousands of Nebraska farmers and ranchers against scores of environmental groups that wanted to deny them water rights.

* Landmark represented the people of Oregon in a lawsuit that forced the governor to comply with a successful state referendum instituting one of the nation's first welfare reform programs.

* Landmark intervened in the notorious Kansas City school busing case and helped stop a federal judge from unconstitutionally raising local property taxes by judicial fiat.

* Landmark sued the IRS, forcing it to reveal the names of hundreds of members of Congress who sought audits of scores of nonprofit organizations, including the Heritage Foundation. Although the case is now over, the IRS was forced to provide Landmark more than 20,000 pages of information.

Landmark has gained a reputation as one of the national media's most respected and sought-after sources of expert commentary on constitutional and legal questions. Articles about Landmark have been featured by the Associated Press, National Review (and National Review Online), The Wall Street Journal, Investor's Business Daily, The Washington Times, and Education Week, as well as hundreds of national and local newspapers and magazines.

In addition, Landmark's work has been highlighted on nationally-syndicated radio shows such as Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Michael Reagan, Janet Parshall's America, Marlin Maddox and other radio programs from Australia, England, Ireland, Mexico, Canada and elsewhere. In short, Landmark has an unparalleled reputation as an authority on the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law.

Landmark has fought for more than a quarter century to preserve-and apply anew-the constitutional principles on which America was founded and which are the origin of the nation's enduring greatness.

Landmark charges no fees and accepts no government funding for its services. It depends solely on contributions from generous individuals, corporations and privately-funded foundations. The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization with offices in both Kansas City, Missouri and Herndon, Virginia.
