Ladies and Gentlemen:
For you younger people, it is necessary to ask those born in 1930-1940 era about what they did as American's for the WAR EFFORT. We didn't have electricity and running water, indoor plumbing and sewage disposal items and used WELLS-hand pumped, fetched water from streams to be boiled and used for 'bird baths' and the clothing was tattered, torn and repaired so our brave men and women could have the necessary items while away fighting for this Nation.
TODAY WE ARE NOT AT WAR WITH THE IRAQI PEOPLE! NOR ARE WE AT WAR WITH ANY NATION ACROSS THIS PLANET!
IT IS UP TO THE WOMEN AND CHILDREN, PLUS OLDER VETERAN'S TO CALL FOR A HALT AND WORLD PEACE IS POSSIBLE!
Please SEE what women did for World War assistance and remember many gave up their jobs and income to returning Veteran's when the WAR was over. These ladies, young and old, gave up their childhood and dreams to work in those factories and other businesses so that the the MALES AT WAR could be clothed, have drink and food, the BEST WEAPONS AND PROTECTION AVAILABLE.
The sacrifice women and children made such as wearing shoes with holes and paper or cardboard even WOOD over the hole inside the shoe were legend. Often STARVING they cultivated gardens at home VICTORY GARDENS so the military could have the BEST AT ALL TIMES.
