Qatar-based al-Jazeera television broadcast the tape Friday. The speaker on the tape says Muslims should not wait for foreign troops to enter their countries, as happened in Iraq and Afghanistan. He says resistance should start immediately, and he adds that the United States, Britain and other Western countries have interests everywhere. The speaker also calls on Muslims to liberate Palestine, and says resistance should continue even if al-Qaida leaders are killed or taken prisoner. The tape's authenticity could not be immediately confirmed. Al-Jazeera aired a videotape from Ayman al-Zawahiri last month.
