Senator Kerry, Answer the Questions.....Tue Sep 18, 2007 16:46
University Of Florida Student Tasered At John Kerry Speech
THIS IS NOT AMERICA!!!!
When John Kerry spoke today at the University of Florida
Gainesville, student Andrew Meyer asked three questions during the Q&A:
1) Given that you won the 2004 election per Greg Palast's book,
*Armed Madhouse*, why did you concede so on the day of the election
itself when there were many reports on the day of the election of
disenfranchisement of black voters and corrupted vote count? Kerry while the question
was in progress said he didn't need to read the book b/c he already had
Meyer said he had two more questions and asked them.
2) If you are really so opposed to the Invasion of Iraq(Iran?),
why don't you urge impeachment of Bush now before he can invade Iran?
Clinton was impeached for a blow job, invading Iraq/Iran is much for serious
3) Were you a member of the secret society Skull & Bones in
Police swarmed Meyer to pull him from the microphone and remove
him from the room. When he, like Rev. Lennox Yearwood at the D.C. Capital,
whose leg was broken by D.C. b/c he asked why he was singled out to be refused
admission to hear Petraeus testify, Meyer was thrown to the ground, swarmed,
and tasered, screaming in pain. The fact that he didn't do anything
wrong did not matter.
I was curious why Kerry conceded the 2004 election so very
quickly, but I won't ask him why and I am sure that he is not (really) going to
tell. Watch the video. Kerry should be telling the cops in no uncertain
terms to leave Meyer alone, but that limp imitation of a liberal can only
bring himself to say to the police, "I'll answer his question," not "Get
your hands off that man!"
I remember Kerry's debates with Bush. Kerry said that Bush was
too soft on Falujah, which was nearly razed to the ground by Bush, with white
phosphorous used on the civilian population. Kerry said the USA
wasn't tough enough on domestic security to stop the next 911 -- docks
and harbors needed extra checks and searches, we needed an additional 100,000
police on the street to be safe from terrorists.
I would not ask Kerry why he did not tell the police to stop. I

Andrew Meyer Arrested for Speaking at Kerry Forum
NOTE: The following is not posted by Andrew Meyer, but has been posted by his friends.
Andrew Meyer is currently incarcerated in Alachua County. While asking U.S. Senator John Kerry a question during a question and answer period following Kerry's speech at the University of Florida, Meyer was attacked by five police officers, manhandled and tasered. Fortunately there are videos and many witnesses to this injustice. Some articles and videos are linked below. Please show your support by educating yourselves and raising awareness by letting others know what has happened. Continue checking back to this website for updates.

" Tasers? What's going on at UF? First, it takes four police cars to pull over someone for "driving while black" and now we taser students that are politically involved? Thank god I moved to Brooklyn, it's safer here. "

" I am absolutely appalled by this. Something needs to be done. I created a facebook group: http://ufl.facebook.com/group.php?gid=4866593998&ref=mf Please join it if you think the police went way too far. If this goes on in a formal conference room, do you even want to know what goes on underground? His cries of help was absolutely terrifying and will stay with me for the rest of my life. "

" I cannot believe that these 'cops' were allowed to do this, much less that at the end of all this the university had the audacity to say 'the student was not harmed in this incident.' Sure he might have walked away, but will he or anyone else in that auditorium or anyone watching this ever be able to look at cops without thinking twice about their intentions?! All this over a question? I cannot believe it. What happened to freedom of speech and protection under the law?! Excessive force was obvioulsy used in this case. They had him on the ground, cops on top of him, with hands cuffed behind his back and they STILL felt the need to taser him. If you watch the video clip can you hear the people screaming in the background once they figure out he is being tasered?! and that they yell at the police to stop?!! and that the police react by telling the students to 'step back'?!!! I am soooo glad I do not go to that college because after today I would need to leave there. "

" Dear HAHA- You are WORSE than all those cops combined. Discrimination is a hideous thing in this world and I do not appreciate that comment in any way. It doesn't even deal with the issues in the story. I hope an editor somewhere comes and removes your hateful comment- it is NOT needed nor wanted. "

" Good thing that kid didn't try to pull these shenanigans in Miami. Assualt rifles hurt a lot more than tasers. "
