Here's a "conspiracy theory": The oil industry, facing the crisis of peak oil, asks the Bush family and their friends to sort it out. The Bush family ask their friends in the Saudi and Pakistani intelligence services to arrange the "hijackers" for Sept 11th. They pull some other strings to make sure there is no security in Logan airport and elsewhere. Some of the warnings about Bin Laden preparing a terror attack (that were obviously ignored) were deliberate red herrings to point the finger at the patsy.
Is Al Qaeda really a mixture of Saudi, Pakistani and US intelligence agents?
