London 'link' to Madrid bombings


"...declined to give details of British links with the
bombings in Spain, a senior anti-terrorist source
revealed that one of the chief suspects in the
bombings, a Moroccan man, had visited Britain. Jamal
Zougam, 30, is thought to have travelled to London in
search of funding and logistical help, including
assistance in planning and supplying equipment and
false identification papers for the bombers. He is
known to have contacted a number of north Africans
living in the UK....

...one line of inquiry is his connection with the
London-based Palestinian cleric Abu Qatada - described
by a Spanish judge as Bin Laden's "European
ambassador" - and his supporters. The 43-year-old
Islamic preacher is being held at the top-security
Belmarsh prison in London under anti-terrorism laws.
He was granted asylum in Britain 10 years ago.

Another potential British link being investigated is
Mr Zougam's involvement with the Syrian cleric Abu
Dahdah, who has repeatedly visited this country and
has met Mr Qatada...."

The Moussaoui-London/Streatham Apartment link

England is a hot 9/11 link.
Besides a possible fake track of Richard Reid aka the
shoe bombers, the apartment of Zacarias Moussaoui
played a big role in the setup of the sep11th-patsies:

Moussaoui was also described as "a follower of the
radical Islamic cleric Abu Qatada".
Then we have this "interlocutor in London identified
only as "Shakur".
(Moussaoui, the so called 20th hijacker, was under
investigation in France as early as 1994.)

Abu Dahdah "had three recorded phone conversations
with, Spanish police say, "a certain Shakur with a
Moroccan accent".

On August 6, 2001, Shakur said: "I have cut my old
relations and in a month perhaps I could see you." On
August 27 he informed: "At the moment I am making a
thing. I am giving classes. In the classes I have
entered into the field of aviation and also we have
slit the throat of the bird." He told Dahdah not to
tell anyone else. He promised he would "deliver the
prize".

On September 26, Shakur and Dahdah spoke again and,
police guess, referred to police watching them as an
illness. Shakur asked Dahdah: "Have you taken the
medicine for malaria?" Dahdah replied: "I am a little
ill, the doctors have been to visit a sick man."


Other England ties:

-Djamel Beghal, a 36-year-old Algerian, who moved to
London from France in 1997.
He was arrested in Dubai in July 2001

-Between on or about December 2 and December 9, 2000,
Ramzi Bin al-Shibh traveled from Hamburg, Germany to
London, England.

-Jerome Courtailler, a suspected French terrorist.
Dutch police arrested Courtailler on Sept. 13, 2001;
he is still being held on terrorism-conspiracy
charges.

Investigators believe that Courtailler, in turn, was
acquainted with Moussaoui.
They suspect that during Moussaoui's extended
residence in London in the '90s, Courtailler and his
brother David visited Moussaoui's south London
apartment.

-Abu Zakaria, a leader at a mosque in London's Brixton
district, told Newsweek that (Richard) Reid (aka shoe
bomber) and Moussaoui both prayed there for several
months in the mid-'90s.

-British investigators have also unearthed records
from two British cell phones used by Moussaoui from
which nine calls were made to the Netherlands.
(my speculation: probably to the Al Furqan Mosque in
Eindhoven or any other related connection)


You will realise, that some european investigators
took some potential whistleblowers out of radar,
shortly before or right after Sep11th:

Courtailler and Beghal might have been other patsies.
It's interesting, that the U.S./CIA/FBI never asked
for them.

Remember, that it also took almost 3 months, before
Moussaoui was delivered to the U.S. authorites.
This was part of a cover-up.
