Leader of (MS-13) Mara Salvatruchas Arrested in South Texas

An international gang leader accused of murdering more than two dozen people is caught in South Texas.
Ebner Anivel Rivera-Paz, also known as Franko Jairo Rivera-Paz was arrested February 10 in Falfurrias during a traffic stop.
Rivera was turned over to the Border Patrol for processing when agents learned he is the reputed head of the Mara Salvatrucha gang in Honduras.
Homeland Security later confirmed RIVERA-Paz is wanted over the December 23rd public bus attack in San Pedro Sula.
The gunmen claimed in a message left on the bus windshield that they were part of a previously unknown revolutionary group opposed to the death penalty.
Executions were stopped in the 1950s.
U.S. officials are concerned the gang members might help sneak al-Qaida terrorists into America.
