George W. Bush conspiracy?
http://lederman.911review.org/

[What the International Herald Tribune article below leaves out is the most
important info there is on this issue, without which the article means
little: Bush's family were actively financing the Nazis from the 1920's
right through 1942. The Rockefeller's Standard Oil of NJ [today known as
EXXON] was half owner of IG Farben, the German chemical conglomerate that
built and operated Auschwitz and 40 other slave labor death camps. Auschwitz
was a model for the type of corporate efficiency that people like
Rockefeller would have liked to apply to a slave-like labor force worldwide
and that globalization is now gradually bringing about in an incremental,
and therefore almost invisible, way. Following WWII the top stock holders
and lawyers of IG Farben created the CIA, after importing thousands of Nazi
intelligence officials into the US, and then became its earliest directors.
The pharmaceutical and chemical companies that IG Farben
was broken up into after WWII are today's biggest Bush supporters and they
continue to carry out a worldwide program of eugenics via the pharmaceutical
drugging of almost 70% of Americans, dangerous vaccines, invented diseases
like AIDs, and the creation of thousands of new viruses via DNA technology.
The human genome project is headquartered at the actual building complex
where both the American and Nazi eugenics programs were started, Cold
Springs Harbor, NY. When Bush says that Americans living longer is the cause
of the social security problem, he's subtley hinting at what their real
"solution" to this problem is going to be, what I termed in an essay written
in 2000, The Profitability of An Early Death. Bush's efforts to eliminate
class action lawsuits against drug and vaccine makers is one step in
preparation for a planned mass kill-off of "useless eater...ler used
innefficient concentration camps while today's eugenicists will use other
far more efficient means to reduce unwanted population, often without their
victims ever leaving their homes. The Bush family connection to Standard
Oil/IG Farben and to eugenics goes back more than 100 years to Samuel Bush
and continues through every subsequent generation. As just one example of
this continuity, GW Bush's father, former President Bush, was both CIA
director and director of the Eli Lilly pharmaceutical company before
becoming US President. As UN ambassador he publicly lauded Rockefeller and
others efforts to revive a world-wide eugenics style population reduction of
minorities and repeatedly endorsed, a New World Order, word for word taken
from Hitler's own speeches. The Bush administration is nothing other than
the recreation of the IG Farben oil, chemical, munitions and pharmaceutical
corporate identity as an official government - unfortunately our government.
Condolezza Rice, a former EXXON executive, is now our Secretary of State. No
US corporation was more inextricably tied up with the Nazis than was
Standard Oil/ EXXON. Eugenicists like Bush understand propaganda better than
anyone. They like to place African Americans, Latinos and other ethnic
minorities in key positions of seeming authority so as to misdirect and
confound their critics. That's why in racist right wing America we will have
a Latino Attorney General, a Black Secretary of State (and soon a Black
Chief Justice, Clarence Thomas) and a Jewish director of Homeland Security.
These are all fronts who decide nothing. The emphasis the Bush
administration seems to place on being advised by so-called neo-con Jews is
also a ploy meant to misdirect critics on both the left and right into
believing it is Jews if not the Jewish people as a whole who are somehow
directing the War in Iraq and all the terrible costs that come with it.
There are thousands of mainstream articles
and books that contain the background info on the Bush/Rockefeller-Nazi
connection, among them Trading With The Enemy by Charles Higham, The Secret
War Against the Jews by Loftus and Arrons and American Dynasty by Kevin
Phillips. Below the Herald Tribune article are brief AP quotes on the
Bush-Nazi connection. If you do a google.com search on Bush AND Nazi you
will find tens of thousands of documented references that prove this is true
and the ultimate proof these articles are citing is in the US National
Archives. This is no conspiracy theory. The US Congress seized the Bush
families assets in 1942 under the Trading With the Enemy Act, as fronts for
the Nazis. The reason that Europeans mock Bush's absurd pronouncements about
"freedom" "democracy" and "human rights" is that they know this history in
great detail while most Americans remain completely in the dark about it,
thanks to our corporate media. The media always treats comparisons of Bush
and Rockefeller operatives like Giuliani to Nazis as if they are an ignorant
analogy or name calling. It's not an analogy at all. The exact same
corporations that put the Nazis in power have maintained an unbroken agenda
of domination culminating today in the second term of GW Bush. In NYC they
put Giuliani in office where he spent eight years carrying out the Manhattan
Institute/CIA experimental plans for a 21st Century urban police state
complete with mass dosings of IG Farben nerve gas as a response to a fake
"epidemic," West Nile Virus. Like AIDS, WNV was a formerly unknown disease
which was created/discovered by Rockefeller University scientists in Africa
during Hitler's reign and was later brought to NYC where they experimented
with it from the 1950's on. A recurrent theme in American literature and
film since 1946 has been Nazis continuing their work by creating a Fourth
Reich via genetic science, political manipulation, pharmaceuticals, weapons
technology and mass brainwashing of the public. Usually dealt with as
fiction - if not science fiction - this thematic undercurrent in hundreds of
American films and novels is expressing a very real agenda being carried out
right in front of us on a daily basis. The reason Bush won't go to Auschwitz
is that he cannot bear to return to the scene of his own families biggest
crime to date. In his second term, GW hopes to outdo his predecessors. The
reason he looks so confident and even smirks as he talks about the latest US
casualties (if you saw his press conference on Wed 1/26/05 you know what I
mean) is that he's laughing at us, the American public. Considering how much
access to information is at our fingertips and how totally ignorant most of
us remain, we must be the most ignorant and deluded population of serfs in
world history. In the past few days both Ted Turner and Robert Kennedy Jr
specifically compared Bush to Hitler as have various members of the US
Congress and millions of Americans on both the left and right done
previously, yet Americans remain completely ignorant as to why this is not
an anology but a factual association. The NY media covered my
Giuliani-a...ler art for years yet never once dared to explain what was
behind it. If we are going to honor the memory of Auschwitz, isn't it time
to once and for all open up the books on what the death camps were just the
most graphic expression of? Isn't it time to stop pretending that this is
past history and not in fact, today's news as it happens? -Robert Lederman]

Auschwitz adds to U.S.-EU friction

By Judy Dempsey International Herald Tribune

Wednesday, January 26, 2005
BERLIN To the long list of what separates the United States and Europe these
days, add the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau
concentration camps, to be marked Thursday in a solemn ceremony that will
bring together almost all of Europe's most important leaders, but not
President George W. Bush.
.
For some prominent Poles, the attendance of Vice President Dick Cheney is a
bitter disappointment. The Auschwitz ceremony will include President
Vladimir Putin of Russia, President Horst Köhler of Germany, President
Jacques Chirac of France and President Moshe Katzav of Israel.
.
Although Auschwitz holds very different associations for each of these
leaders - Putin represents the liberator, Katzav the victim and Köhler the
perpetrator - the passage of time and the immense changes in Europe since
communism crumbled in 1989 have allowed all three to share this anniversary.
.
Some believe the American president should be part of this occasion, which
they see as a symbol of Europe's enlargement and its decision, after World
War II, to renounce war and national sovereignties in favor of a still
uncertain experiment in unity.
.
"I would like to see the president of the United States attend the
liberation of the Auschwitz commemoration," said the distinguished Polish
medieval historian Bronislaw Geremek, a former dissident, foreign minister
and now member of the European Parliament.
.
"Auschwitz represented the end of the totalitarian regime," Geremek said in
a telephone interview from New York, where he was part of the Polish
delegation attending the first United Nations ceremony to commemorate the
Holocaust.
.
"The role of the United States was enormous in ending this regime," Geremek
said. "It is natural that a president of the United States should be
present."
.
In Washington, a senior administration official was asked Tuesday about
Bush's decision not to attend and replied that the president "sent one of
his closest confidants to attend that very important ceremony." The official
added: "He's been to Poland. He was just there last year."
.
Without the Marshall Plan that helped rebuild Europe after 1945, Western
Europe would have been far less able to resist the Communist influence that
swept across Eastern Europe in the late 1940s. Without the foresight and
persistence of Dean Acheson, then secretary of state, France, Germany and
Italy might never have founded the European Coal and Steel Community, the
precursor of today's European Union.
.
Yet veteran intellectuals such as Geremek say that with the passing of time,
Auschwitz has come to play an increasingly important role in forging a kind
of European identity almost separate from the United States. Geremek is
among those who go so far as to see the liberation of this Nazi death camp
as one foundation of the European Union.
.
"I do believe that we should consider Auschwitz as one of the founding
events of the international community and the European Union in the sense
that the United Nations, 60 years ago, was a response to the experiences of
the Holocaust," said Geremek. "And it should be said that the Holocaust
helped to create the European Union. It was the answer to the totalitarian
ideology created on European soil, such as Auschwitz."
.
Even 10 years ago, at the 50th anniversary of Auschwitz's liberation, the
idea that the death camp would become part of Europe's collective memory was
hardly conceivable. Michael Melchior, chief rabbi of Norway, a member of the
Israeli Knesset, or Parliament, and recently appointed Israeli deputy
minister for education and culture, said he has been surprised by the big
changes that have taken place in Europe.
.
"Something has happened in the past few years where the leaders of Europe
have understood that they can't avoid looking towards Auschwitz," Melchior
said by telephone from his office in Jerusalem. "It is becoming part of the
European reference and no decent leader can avoid this."
.
Melchior, prominent in Jewish and ecumenical movements throughout Europe to
promote understanding of the Holocaust, anti-Semitism, Islamophobia and
crimes against humanity, said several factors helped to change European
attitudes toward the Holocaust.
.
The first was the collapse of the Berlin Wall, which ended the cold war and
the division of Europe. Until 1989, the former countries of Eastern and
Central Europe had little idea about the legacy and role played by the large
Jewish communities that had perished during the Holocaust.
.
Poland and other former Communist countries had no opportunity during the
cold war years to embrace the Holocaust as part of their collective memory.
During that time, the Kremlin supported Arab states and cultivated a climate
of anti-Zionism and anti-Semitism, while the United States forged an ever
closer alliance with Israel. As late as the 1960s, the Communists in Poland
started a vicious campaign against the Jewish community, which numbered less
than 30,000, in a bid to stamp out dissent.
.
In many cases, it was not until the 1980s that survivors in these countries
started speaking about their experiences to their grandchildren, who had, if
at all, only the vaguest idea about Jewish culture or identity. Only after
1989 could Moscow's former satellites openly address their own past.
.
"You must remember that during the 1990s, there was a new generation that
knew nothing about the Holocaust," said Melchior.
.
During the 1990s, restitution of Jewish property showed this generation that
Jews were not only killed, but also robbed. Then, said Melchior, there was
the gradual "upgrading of anti-Semitism," with leaders in Europe taking
Holocaust education and anti-Semitism more seriously.
.
George Schoepflin, a Hungarian political scientist who was elected to the
European Parliament last year, agrees that the recent changes across Eastern
Europe have influenced how Auschwitz is now viewed.
.
"It took the Poles some time after 1991 to decide whether Auschwitz should
be a universal site, or one the Poles would appropriate," said Schoepflin.
.
"There has been an enormous contest for its symbolic value. Is it to be a
European symbol of repentance or primarily a Jewish symbol of identity? The
Poles now understand they cannot appropriate the site. The site, in ways,
belongs to everybody in Europe."
.
In part, this is because of the slow but persistent enlargement of Europe,
which went from 15 to 25 countries last May, bringing in the Baltic states
and five other former Communist countries.
.
"Europe is becoming more inclusive, where the role of historical memory is
being shared," said Klaus Becher, a German-born European security expert and
founder of the London-based Knowledge and Analysis think tank.
.
The EU, Becher said, is not embarking on "some kind of general mission about
how to deal with the past or how to impose the past. But it is very
important to foster memory. In that sense, Europe, or the EU, is becoming
more inclusive. Auschwitz is about the extermination of the weak and racial
hatred."
.
Melchior said the enlargement of the EU is helping to "Europeanize the
memory of the Holocaust." Schoepflin called this a very slow process, but
noted that "you can sense some of the changes. If you are going to have some
kind of European identity, you need some kind of European memory."

Bush grandfather 's bank seized by Feds in 1942
By JONATHN D. SALANT, Associated Press
Published Friday, October 17th, 2003 WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush's
grandfather was a director of a bank seized by the federal government
because of its ties to a German industrialist who helped bankroll Adolf
Hitler's rise to power, government documents show. Prescott Bush was one of
seven directors of Union Banking Corp., a New York investment bank owned by
a bank controlled by the Thyssen family, according to recently declassified
National Archives documents reviewed by The Associated Press.
